This rehabilitating treatment includes a combination of various techniques, customized by our therapists to target your specific needs, including a deep tissue massage.

Massage Therapy is beneficial to everybody, and can help with so much more than just relaxation. On top of being incredibly helpful for stress and anxiety, massage also reduces pain & inflammation, improves circulation, range of motion & athletic performance and speeds up injury recovery.

Massage is for people of all ages and professions. Our RMTs have worked with clients aging 7 to 90, including pregnant women and disabled people.

Numerous research has shown that massage therapy can be helpful in treating acute, subacute and chronic pain, headaches & migraines, nerve pain, sprains, strains, IBS, whiplash, concussion symptoms, TMJD, and is recommended for post-surgery recovery. Myofascial release techniques can be done on the healed scar to break up adhesions, and lymphatic drainage can decrease swelling. For TMJ issues, Nina offers intra-oral massage, which includes releasing the muscles inside the mouth. It can be highly effective at relieving jaw pain.

Massage therapy is amazing on it’s own, but can have a synergistic effect when combined with other modalities such as physiotherapy and chiropractic.

Somatic Healing sessions address the whole person, mind, body, breath. The term “Somatic” comes from the root word “Soma”, and refers to the body experienced from within. This psycho-biological (or mind-body) model combines counselling therapy with movement, grounding and mindfulness techniques. Symptoms such as pain, depression and anxiety are understood as information we can listen to by simply paying attention, rather than covering them up with a temporary fix. We will explore easy and non-invasive ways to calm your nervous system, basic meditative techniques to help you relax, and gentle/simple yoga-based exercises targeted to your particular challenges. Sessions help to restore inner harmony, strengthen the immune system and increase well-being on all levels. Since somatic therapy aims to resolve the root causes of ill-being, it may help those who have not been successful in using modern medical approaches for treating chronic pain, digestive disorders and other chronic disorders.

This therapy is specifically suitable for eliminating excess body fluids that tend to accumulate in the deeper tissues of the skin and muscles, bringing toxicity out with it. We offer two types of lymphatic massage body treatments: Body Contouring and Post Surgery as well as Lymphatic Facial Contouring. Our massage therapist is certified in the Josie Rushing technique, which has been famous in Brazil for decades to treat the body inside and out. How long do the results last? Most clients see the physical effects of our lymphatic drainage massage for up to 6 hours. Long term results will improve with every treatment and you will start to look and feel noticeably better for up to a month each time. Few people have negative reactions to lymphatic drainage massage. Some people, however, complain of headaches, nausea and fatigue which can be prevented or treated with hydration and trace minerals. Benefits of this type of massage include accelerates the body’s own natural detoxification process, rejuvenates cell function, helps with excessive fluid retention, relieves stress, balances the nervous system and promotes cellular oxygenation. For a specific program, it is recommended to have a lymphatic drainage massage weekly for 4-6 weeks for quicker and longer lasting results. Speak to your therapist about your health concerns to develop an individualized lymph drainage health plan.

French clay is known to pull toxins from the body while also providing mineralization. Trace minerals regenerate the cells and can help the body heal quicker and also help reduce various negative medical conditions. Your experience will begin with a full body exfoliation to remove dead skin and open your pores to better absorb the mud and mineral solution. The practitioner will then apply the clay solution all over the body, focusing on high pain areas, and thermally wrap the body to insulate heat and allow the muscles and tissues to absorb the solution. While wrapped, you will experience a head and face massage. Once the wrap is complete, you will be wiped down (no shower required!) and enjoy a blissful holistic healing massage. This is a great option for those requiring deep pain or stress relief. CBD is known to calm the nervous system and relax both the muscles and the mind without any "high" effects that come with THC. CBD, hot stones or extra massage time add ons are available upon request for additional charges. Let us know upon arrival should you wish to include an add on,

While relaxation massage is wonderful for you, it is less effective than the deeper styles for changing soft tissue tension. We normally recommend deeper styles when you are suffering pain and leave relaxation for when you just want to relax!

Please discuss your needs with our massage therapist. They'll be happy to tailor a massage solution for you that can combine relaxation massage with other styles that address your issues.
